Admission Process (MCA)
The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) is the Admission Authority in the State for Admission to MCA program. It conducts OJEE entrance exam for MCA admissions (Computer based Test) in number of Centres in Odisha /outside Odisha in the Month of May/June every year.100% seats are filled-up through OJEE rank holders. Online Admission Counselling is Conducted by OJEE for allotment of seats as per reservation Policy given in OJEE Brochure every year.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants should carefully review the eligibility criteria specified by OJEE for MCA admissions. Passed BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree OR Passed B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level (with additional bridge Courses as per the norms of the concerned University). Must have Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination
Application & Entrance:
Candidates interested in pursuing an MCA in Odisha through OJEE must start by filling out the online application form on the official OJEE website during the specified application period.The application typically requires candidates to provide personal details, educational qualifications, and other relevant information.
Admit Card Download:
After successful submission of the application, candidates can download their admit cards from the official website. Admit cards contain important information about the examination center, date, and time.
OJEE MCA Entrance Exam:
OJEE conducts Online entrance examination for MCA admissions. 120 questions, 2 hour duration (Computer Awareness – 60, Mathematics - 60 questions)
Result Declaration:
OJEE releases the MCA entrance exam results on its official website. Candidates can check their scores and rank in the result.
Counselling Process:
Based on the OJEE MCA entrance exam scores, candidates are invited to participate in the counseling process. During counseling, candidates have the opportunity to choose their preferred MCA colleges and programs based on their ranks. Seat allotment is done based on merit and the availability of seats in the selected colleges.
Document Verification:
Candidates must provide original documents and certificates during the counseling process for verification. This includes academic records, identity proof, and other relevant documents.
Seat Confirmation and Fee Payment:
